different quotes same insurance

Had several quotes for my car insurance. charged a more expensive price than my policy stated. Spoke on phone , what a surprise , agent couldn't load the relevant price page but said he would arrange a "goodwill gesture" for the extra charged. I am a pensioner , maybe they just thought this old fart wouldn't notice. How wrong they were. check your policy details carefully. Reviewed on: 18th January 2018

50% Increase for Renewal

Just had my renewal quote through for the end of Jan. up by nearly 50% for absolutely no discernible reason, never made a claim or anything. Basically just hoping that you don’t notice and it auto renews. Disgusting way to treat customers. Reviewed on: 2nd January 2024

When things go wrong, you need support. Don't go to Lloyds insurance for it.

I had an accident... that is what I am insured for. 2 accidents in over 40 years of driving. I had to threaten the company who represent Llloyds for my Guaranteed Car replacement. Insurance for my new car through Lloyds is over £2,000 more than anywhere else. It is stressful enough to have an accident, Lloyds car insurance ensures that stress levels go much higher. Change of vehicle

Contacted lloyds insurance to change vehicle to a smaller car and they went from £175 for a fiesta up to £585 for a vw up and said it's cost gone up funny how I got insurance back at a normal price . Lloyds are cashing in on everyone else so don't use comparison sites as they are conning people go straight to a insurance company beat their prices. terrible experience!! Avoid no matter how cheap their quotes are!

Unbeatable renewal

AVOID!!!! Awful charges and their pricing system is not customer friendly

We had to make a change and because of this they recalculated the whole policy. They run on a live system so the prices change daily, therefore if you make a change the whole policy cost can change. Mine went from around 300 a year to around 800 for the year. The cost to end the policy was so debilitating that I had no choice but to stay. Worst ever service. BTW I am 47 and have been driving for nearly 30 years - I was insuring a 59 plate mini first - £800 - insane prices. Avoid. Reviewed on: 25th September 2023

Avoid!!!!

Initial quote was competitive but as soon as you make a change on the policy (change of occupation) their charges are through the roof and they then take and admin charge on top! Had to cancel as pretty much every other insurer was cheaper for the same cover but they then charge you such a large cancellation fee so that you don’t get any money back. AVOID!
