Extortionate

After nearly 30 years I'm leaving. Deeply disappointed.

After nearly 30 years I'm leaving. I'm fed up of calling call centre staff with sarcastic and rude attitudes. They are are either so overworked that they can't be pleasant or just enjoy being rude. Quite frankly I'm not quite sure where they get off talking to people like the do. I have never ever been in debt on my account and I've stupidly struggled along with them having very limited in our city because they shut their branches. Online is ok but telephone banking is really shoddy. I currently can't get at my money because of some problem they've got with their system for over a week now. They are condescending and rude when you talk to them and offer no way of resolving the problem. So I am left unable to access my money and apparently that's fine. I'd have liked to put no stars because really is this work of a normal functional bank? It's sad that after such a long time with them, the only course of action that is left to me is to switch banks. What can I say if you're looking for friendly and can do attitude, this is definitely not the bank for you. I don't think their staff give a toss about the problems the cause. I wouldn't care but they've got my money and not the other way round!! Reviewed on: 10th January 2019

Lloyds are a forward-thinking, progressive and friendly bank that offers serious banking and financial services. They are customer-focused and flexible. Whilst I do most of my banking online or on the app, I always find a visit to a branch is smooth and hassle-free. Although I have tried other banks too, I think Lloyds is by far the best experience for my current account and daily banking needs. Reviewed on: 8th January 2019

I've been with lloyds since I first got a bank account and they've never failed me. There have been times over the years that they could have sold me things I really didn't need or could afford but they have a conscience unlike some companies I've come across. Every review I've had they've been impeccable in seeing the full picture of my finances and whats needed or not needed. Every time I leave the branch I feel the staff have gone above and beyond and not just for a good review. thats rare these days. well done Lloyds! Reviewed on: 5th January 2019
