A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

Savings Account for rainy days

I have beem with Manchester Credit Union for about 6 years. I save a small amount each month and it gives me a lot of peace of mind. I can see my savings grow online, I feel rest assured that if I need to use my savings I can withdraw them without any hassle and know that if I needed extra money I could apply for a credit union loan. Their website is simple to use and provides all the information I need. As an extra bonus every saver is provided with generous life insurance. The life insurance doubles your savings deposits in case of your death to help love ones pay for funeral expenses. Reviewed on: 18th May 2022

Easy saving

Easy to set up regular savings from my pay. No rrsyrictions on making withdrawals. Originally set up to pay for hidays but have used the mo.ney for other projects too.FOr people who find it difficult to save this may make it easier. Great organisation

MCU Are An EXcellent Financial Assett

When I joined MCU sometime between 2010/2011, they didn't have an app available, however they were easily accessible and very approachable. I had a loan with them in that time which was straightforward to apply for and arrange and suited my needs. It was affordable whilst still saving with them at the same time. The app that has since been developed for MCU is excellent. It has a wealth of information covering various aspects of financial interest.
