I’ve been with Manchester credit union for many years they have helped me in difficult times aswel as helped me learn to save money aswell they keep me up to date with any upcoming changes and when Ive contact them via phone or in the office yhe customer service has been amazing every time i definitely recommend credit union to anyone who may need them in their life’s like I do Reviewed on: 19th March 2026

Loan was declined for lack of disposable income, however with a take home pay of £3000 and outgoings of around £1400 I had more than enough to cover £50 loan repayment. My outgoings were high on leisurely spending not regular outgoings. This is different to me not having sufficient disposable income. Unsure who underwrites the loans but clearly not within standards. - don’t waste your time. Reviewed on: 18th March 2026

I am experiencing technical difficulties, so I was unable to get communications, MCU could have phoned me but they didn't, so the loan was just sitting there unclaimed for almost a week because no extra communications were pursued.
