Any surplus money generated is returned to members in the form of a dividend on their savings or used to improve services to members.

    I’ve been with Manchester credit union for many years they have helped me in difficult times aswel as helped me learn to save money aswell...     Loan was declined for lack of disposable income, however with a take home pay of £3000 and outgoings of around £1400 I had more than... Loan was declined for lack of disposable income, however with a take home pay of £3000 and outgoings of around £1400 I had more than enough to cover £50 loan repayment. My outgoings were high on leisurely spending not regular outgoings. This is different to me not having sufficient disposable income. Unsure who underwrites the loans but clearly not within standards. - don’t waste your time. Read more Read less

    I am experiencing technical difficulties, so I was unable to get communications, MCU could have phoned me but they didn't, so the loan was just... I am experiencing technical difficulties, so I was unable to get communications, MCU could have phoned me but they didn't, so the loan was just sitting there unclaimed for almost a week because no extra communications were pursued.
