I've been saving with Bradford District Credit union for a number of years. It's so easy. i used to get the money taken direct from my wage, but when I changed jobs I had it paid from my Bank. Just saving a little every month really helps. My money feels safe and I can have it paid back into my bank when I need it. The staff are really helpful too. As a customer I get regular newsletters and updates and great terms if I need a loan. I feel it is banking for everyone, and I don't end up waiting for hours trying to talk to a real person. However BDCU where able to process my application taking my individual circumstances into consideration whilst making their decision most importantly my ability to repay which was not a problem for me having demonstrated that over the years being a member of the union.
