Generally a great company

It did take a while to be processed compared to other applications, but they are sometimes more willing than banks etc to consider you for a loan. The repayments are clear and fair and I love that you have to save as well, so build resilience. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026

When i filled my loan forms the process of emails helping me to correct and send the required statements was really smooth. I changed my mind and requested a higher amount and that was granted. I am so happy with the service and everything I have...

I am so happy with the service and everything I have received from Manchester Credit Union. However, the communication hasn’t been great. I wasn’t aware I needed to reapply and then when I did, I sent some bank statements through and wasn’t aware that they were not sufficient. I had to send a message to the office to find out I needed to send more bank statements, which infact, someone should have contacted me and told me to send the correct statements in. So all in all, everything is great but the communication from the office to the client needs to be better. Reviewed on: 25th February 2026
