A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

Really happy with my savings account at Manchester Credit Union. It’s easy to use, no hidden fees, and I like knowing my money’s helping the local community. Not huge interest, but the annual dividend is a nice bonus. Great for simple, stress-free saving Reviewed on: 17th June 2025

GDPR customer privabcy

Customers/clients need privacy. I recently visited the Wythenshawe office, but I was not given a private space to talk to a member of staff; instead, the person behind the desk was so loud to the point that everyone would hear my area of inquiry. The savings is ideal when you’ve got the loan as it doesn’t let you access it until you’ve paid the loan back so it can just build up instead of dipping into it.
