Can't fault the Mansfield BS staff but...

I'm more than happy with the Mansfield BS My Milestone Saver's rate of interest, and the wonderfully helpful staff at Mansfield Building Society. However, I do find the old-fashioned postal service to be just that; out of date. There really should be an online option at least for all savings accounts. Reviewed on: 30th May 2026

I have been very happy with my experience using this bank/building society for my savings. I currently have a regular savings account and an ISA account, and both have been excellent for helping me manage and grow my money. The process of opening and maintaining the accounts has been simple, straightforward, and stress-free. I really appreciate how easy it is to save regularly and see my savings increase over time with the good interest rates they provide. One of the best things about this place is the variety of savings accounts available. They do not only offer regular savings and ISA accounts, but they also provide many other types of savings options to suit different needs and goals. For example, there are savings accounts for children, which are perfect for parents who want to start saving for their kids’ future from an early age. There are also savings options for holidays, helping people plan and save for special trips without worrying about finances at the last minute. In addition, they offer accounts for people saving to buy a house, which can be very useful for first-time buyers who are trying to build up a deposit. It is great to see that they understand different financial goals and provide products to support customers at every stage of life. Another reason I highly recommend them is because of the staff. Every member of staff I have spoken to has been lovely, friendly, professional, and supportive. They always take the time to explain things clearly and answer any questions patiently. I needed a high interest easy access acount.

I needed a high interest easy access acount due to a sale of property. The ladies in the branch were very helpfull and setting up the account was easy. They use pass books at this branch, which I found suprising, but I like it, and I am sure many elderly people like this too. Not every body has access to a computer or a smart phone.
