Lack of Communication

After setting up my ISA account by going into the branch (and paying funds into it from home) I did not receive any communication from the building society either by phone, post or email (and have still not received any). A welcome email notification would have been good and / or an email communication stating that funds had been received to set up the account. After a period of 2 weeks I had still not received anything (I had expected to receive my paying in book by post) so I had to go into the branch to confirm what the situation was and was then provided with the paying in book.
