Excelent personalised service. I rang with an urgent question about setting up a trust account and was called back promptly. It was great to then be able to contact Tony Harrison directly with my queries. He was very responsive and helpful - due to waiting for confirmation of a house completion date i could only give him short notice to set up the account. I really liked the very human service. Frustrating

I find it frustrating that when I want to open a new account as I just have I have to hand in the application form and then wait till I get confirmation through the post to actually fund it causing me to have to return to branch. Reviewed on: 12th November 2025

renewed an ISA

renewed an ISA that was coming to the end of its term, we asked about putting more money into it and were told that the new ISA was expiring soon and we would only have a few days, looking at your products we could have put the money into a newer product that would have longer to add to it (and it appears to pay the same rate), we were not told this Reviewed on: 12th November 2025

My Bond matured on 16 th October 2025 . I filled n the form , expressing my wishes (reinvest some and a cheque for the rest). I didn’t receive any confirmation that my pass book and form had been received.Then last Tuesday I had an email from MBS thanking me for reinvesting and asking How did we do?. At this point I had received no comms, no passbook and no cheque. On Friday 7th November I decided to visit the Mansfield branch. I was told that a cheque had been posted to me on 4th , and a suggestion was made that I wait till the following Monday , as it might come then. (Which it did). So in summary I’m disappointed with communication-and I think I should have had my cheque straight after the maturity date not today the 10th november Reviewed on: 10th November 2025
