I'm in the phone booth it's the one across the hall

Strong interest rates on Cash ISA's in previous years but the offset is that you can rarely get them to answer the phone. You can't even wait in a queue as after a short period you're given an option to leave a message or hang up. Reviewed on: 27th July 2026

Pointless poor communication

Pointless calling as the phone rarely gets answered, found out my account has a passbook and can’t be managed online yet it was opened online. Poor communication and rates always falling Reviewed on: 18th February 2026

We're sorry to hear you've experienced some delays in getting through to us - we've taken this feedback onboard and are currently looking at ways to improve this. We do have an online offering where some of our accounts can be opened this way. However, if your account has a passbook it won't have been possible to open this account online. It sounds as though you have registered to 'view' the account online. You're very welcome to contact us directly again and we can make sure we've covered your queries.
