I recently joined the Mansfield Building Society by opening a 1 year fixed rate business bond. The whole process has been relatively easy and any interactions that I’ve had with the employees over the phone has been exemplary. Odd that application for account had to be on a printed form., not online. Also: why no form enquiry re whether the applicant is an existing MBS account-holder (so as to enable linking of the accounts)? Reviewed on: 4th March 2026
