Could be better

All was going well but when I went to collect the new passbook / certificate from the branch, I was informed that it had been posted to me. I had requested that it be held back and I understand from the person who served me at the counter, that she had indeed added a note to the application that it should not be posted. The issue is that the day after I went to the branch to collect the item, I was going away on holiday and I won't be back home for another two weeks or so. At home, I have an external postbox, which is not waterproof. If it rains a lot during the period I am away, whatever you send may well get very wet indeed. Reviewed on: 7th March 2026
