Awful services for businesses. Incompetents and couldn't care less. I've waited for almost 2 months for them to get approved for BBL and test their product. In the first day, it failed. In the second day, I was approved and told the money would be in my account in 24 hours. On the 3rd day, they said they couldn't give me the money without an explanation. Bad people pull out my deal after 12 weeks

The worse bank for the mortgage

The worse company I know

WORST MORTGAGE LENDER IN THE UK - CERTIFIED COWBOYS!

In the mortgage industry Metro bank are known to have the most incompetent underwriters! They are utterly and hopelessly useless! Proceed with extreme caution as they will do a hard search and ruin your credit file and waste 2- 3 weeks of your time! Reviewed on: 24th February 2022

Awful underwriters

Do not trust their processing time/turnaround on their website, as this is delusional. Their underwriters have very little common sense, the list of documents they ask compared to other lenders is just simply ridiculous to say the least, but the worst part is they seems to ask one proof at at time, causing massive delay to the mortgage process. A disgraceful disingenuous bank

In the middle of a global pandemic Metro wrote to us giving an ultimatum to either sell, refinance or they would call in LPA receivers and repossess our commercial property. We had never missed a mortgage payment and we we’re not in arrears. Like many not only we’re we dealing with Covid, but now we had to worry about losing our pension and our business. Mortgage

Metro Bank has a unique system where customers have a personal service delivered and the mortgage advisors are informative, approachable and very helpful. Customers are able to contact the advisor directly and they respond quickly. The rates are competetive. I have used Metro Bank 5 times for my mortgages and would recommend them highly. A high street bank who still gives a personal ans efficient service. That is their uniqur trademark! Reviewed on: 13th April 2021
