Review of the MORE THAN, Car Insurance:

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

First year with them as I’m currently 6 months into this insurance company, they are a scam I got my insurance with them and put 5000 miles which I thought was the lowest amount, for the lady on the phone to not tell me the min and max which states they should, used 2000 miles in 3 months as a first time driver you want to go explore and drive to places You’ve never been to before my insurance cost £72 a month which I could afford in my last job, then I added 2000 miles on to get to 7000 as they estimated I needed which I didn’t realise I didn’t so that was £200 odd pound upfront with a admin fee of £25 which took my direct debit upto £84 which was still a reasonable price, then enquired about business insurance And 3000 miles added on top and also enquired about changing my occupation to care assistant to then be told a quote of just under £1000 upfront with admin fees so of course I didn’t go for that job and told her to leave it , then month later my insurance went up to £97 to be told on the phone she added everything on and we was charged as I explained I was enquiring to be refunded £15 which was a joke really, then enquired about changing my address to a few miles down the road to be quoted £275 with a admin fee of £25 and my insurance to go up to £157 a month as apparently it’s a bad area compared to the one I’m living now even though it’s roughly the same area, then enquired about adding mileage once more as I’ve only got around 2400 left to last me till February 2021 and got qouted £387 upfront and a £25 admin fee for my insurance to go up to £173 something, I would not recommend at all even if you do 1mph over the speed limit you get a bad score your constantly checking your speedometer and if you go slow you get a bad score too, it’s a absolute joke suppose to be for affordable for young people and they just scan money out of you, even when I stayed at my partners house during lockdown due to working with the public in retail I didn’t wanna pass anything on to my parents I was staying there for roughly 3/4 months to prevent the spread , they only just informed me last week that they would cancel my insurance for the over night parking No communication just a text no email to say about a accident that I’d had which wasn’t my fault due to someone running up the back off me and I didn’t claim as not much damage they didn’t once get in touch with the 3rd party to see if they was claiming had to ring that persons insurance up myself to have the open claim took off had to call more than up my self to see what was going on still can’t get a temporary insurance on my parents car like I normally do to save my mileage when going long distance absolute joke , DO NOT RECOMMEND PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Insurers From Hell

I had to query it to get confirmation of 2000 top up. Monthly usage emails. Then an email saying I was running out of miles. I replied that I wasn't. They replied that indeed I wasn't. No apology. Then an email saying I had run out of miles. I replied that I hadn't. They replied O yeah, you haven't. You still have **** miles left. Again, no apology. Less Than Happy

Want your car claim settled for half the value without your consent? No problem. Want to be told you have 9 years no claims one day, then 3 years the next day? Not an issue. Want to spent hours on hold, only to speak to someone who’s more interested in their holiday than your stolen car? Go to More Than! More than is a poor car insurance

More than are a poorer car insurance company if u miss one payment they cancel your policy and don't send a certasy call to say there is a issue, and you are driving around with no insurance total out of order, it's not a company I would recommend!!! Reviewed on: 27th September 2023

Best price car insurance

Had to get car insurance for our new car and More Than came out the best price and cover. Also, it is nice to have our insurance with such a well known company. Reviewed on: 19th July 2023

Expensive

I shouldn't have to pay 300 dollars for an ugly car monthly. Car insurance is too expensive. I don't want to give my money to you hideous people. Reviewed on: 7th July 2023

Scammers

Worst insurance company out there from what I've seen, seem like a good price for a new driver at the start it includes a blackbox, all was going okay except a few occasions that I was emailed by them saying that I had been speeding when I definitely had not been and as I was close to my milage limit and would be needing to buy more, I noticed my score started going steadily down daily, I know this was not as it should have been since I wanted to get the miles cheeper as this is based on your driving score, I was driving no where near the speed limit and not taking any corners above 10mph, called them up, they were useless and told me the bad score was because I'd gone 31 in a 30 a week and a half before but since then all been green however the sore still dropping each day. The miles would cost be over £1000 for 3000 miles. Avoid their seemingly great offers! Reviewed on: 7th June 2023

Great for being able to check mid term policy changes

I was able to check out what my next car would cost, without any faff or trouble. It was clear and transparent and not at all what I'm used to with other insurers. Reviewed on: 1st June 2023

A company that provide a very slow service and pays out less than.

Claimed non fault car accident, car prices had gone up after covid lock down. They would not agree and paid 30 % less for my car than market value. Terrible service and not the 1st time dealing with these thieves Reviewed on: 9th April 2023
