The over the hill bank

After a very bumpy. Where the bank closed my account for 2weeks last year without my knowledge leaving me with no way to get to my money for food and paying bills leaving me temporarily in debt , I had to overseas account fee which should have been covered by the bank, now just last month I got a letter telling me I’m to find another bank as they are closing my account permanently in April, can I get an explanation can I hell they refuse to tell me why, I think they’ve done me a big favour. Banking with Natwest for over 10 years.

Banking with Natwest for over 10 years. Proven to be reliable - with some helpful advise. They have adapted the App so has similar functionality to Monzo and feels like a new bank again. Cash ISA / Stocks and Share Isa seem behind other platform but overall happy with them. Reviewed on: 15th March 2024

Excellent mobile banking app

Mobile banking app is really easy to use. I can see the balance of all my accounts in one place and it is very easy to transfer funds between them. It is also very simple to manage standing orders and direct debits from the app. The app also makes cheque deposits and payment transfers very simple with effective use of face recognition. The ease of use and convenience of the app enables me to have full control of my bank accounts. Reviewed on: 15th March 2024

Quick and easy to switch banks, offer received swiftly, and it has a great app to use. The account comes with the option for a savings account which has a competitive interest rate of 6 percent up to £5000, but you can only put in £150 a month unfortunately! Reviewed on: 14th March 2024

The NatWest Select Account has a major flaw in my op...

The NatWest Select Account has a major flaw in my opinion and that is charging for failed payments due to insufficient funds. I actively make a choice to keep my funds low in my debit account so that losing my card has a reduced risk. I transfer money into my spending account prior to purchases, something someone who were to steal my card could not do. I believe that Natwest penalising people for adopting thia security measure to be backward and ridiculous. Reviewed on: 27th January 2024

Excellent service
