It's fine.

It's fine. I don't really need or expect much from a bank account. The app, however, is bereft of the features pioneered by monzo et Al such as pots, payments can be slow. Reviewed on: 24th May 2024

Cashback and stooze

I have a couple NatWest credit cards; one for groceries (1% cashback) and one for stoozing. No complaints. Reviewed on: 24th May 2024

Some accurate data would be useful

Fixed pension, fortunate in having excess income over expenditure. "Churning" (transfers between 3 accounts) maximises interest via scheduled weekly transfers, achieves 4.84% with instant access. FIRST MISINFORMATION - NatWest app said £900 scheduled transfer made me £600 overdrawn (and the app was frozen, had to go online to see details). Checked the receiving bank (Lloyds) - no payment received - which in turn made my Lloyds account overdrawn. (Expected payment hadn't been received in NatWest, which created the problem. Immediately transferred funds to clear both O/D). Called NatWest - SECOND MISINFORMATION - yes they had received funds AND MADE the £900 payment to Lloyds at 1.30. No sign of it on Lloyds app which usually reports in seconds. Called them, they said give it 24 hours or call sender. PROOF OF MIS.INFORMATION - Next day, NatWest app shows balance >£900 (i.e. they DIDN'T make the payment). Now done manually. And they charge for this "service" ? !!! Could have been costly ( o/d fees). Reviewed on: 10th April 2024
