The NatWest Reward Account allows you to earn rewards from direct debits and spending at NatWest’s partner retailers.

Rewards can be exchanged for eGift cards or cashback, or you can choose to donate them to charity. This current account has a low monthly fee and gives account holders access to NatWest’s mobile banking app.

Fairly ok bank let down by customer service

The account was fine but I regularly had log-in problems for online banking. Customer service were not helpful so I ditched and switched. Reviewed on: 5th November 2019

NatWest customer since I was a child.

I've been with NatWest since I was a child with my mum setting me up with an account with them. I've stayed with them ever since. I owe many thanks to a time when my PayPal Account got hacked some years back and all my money had been transferred out of my bank (which wasn't a lot as I don't have much, but it was a lot to me!). I've also experienced loosing my card on a long walk and I was so easily able to use the app to block it, and within 2 days I had a new card. Fantastic. Only little niggle is that I'm on a reward account, but never seem to shop where the rewards are generated, therefore I've had £4 odd stuck in the reward part for I think it must be about 10 years and you can't withdraw/transfer/use it until you reach a higher threshold. I should perhaps see if there would be a more suited current account. Reviewed on: 25th August 2024

Good simple cash back credit card.

Great little reward account

Minimal activity required on the account to get the £5 reward monthly and then you have a range of rewards to choose from or simply to withdraw the £5 to your account. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Reward voucher not accepted, B&Q

Exchanged £100 of rewards for a £100 B&Q voucher, however B&Q will not accept the voucher and NatWest won’t cancel the voucher and refund back to the account. although the hedge cutter is on B&Q website to order, but because it is packed san£ shipped by another company for B&Q they do Not accpt th3 voucher as payment. NatWest said they would escalate the complaint, didn’t hear anything ! Made a complaint and have not heard anything. Try to get AI to understand is impossible.
