Review of the NFU Mutual, Car Insurance:

Good for first year but inflexible for renewal premium

The first years price was excellent. when I queried why the base price had increased by 20% for the second year the local office were most unhelpful and said a discount had already been applied. I was told the system would not allow them to decrease the premium further which is utter nonsense Reviewed on: 19th August 2018

Great service and you get to speak to a local rep

NFU are perhaps a little more pricey than competitors but you know they will pay out if the worst was to happen and you don't get charged any extra for paying via monthly direct debit Reviewed on: 21st July 2017

Fantastic

I had a car accident 2 months after taking my insurance policy out with NFU Mutual and i can not fault the level of customer service that I received. They had provided me with a car the very next day, and with in 2 weeks I had been paid my claim and bought a new car. Fantastic, friendly service. Reviewed on: 14th July 2017

Not the cheapest, but, definitely the best.

Within 75 minutes of a simple call I was met by the RAC who took me to a local garage which they recommended and I was back on the road. It honestly could not have been easier. Reviewed on: 8th July 2017

Great value quality company

I've only ever had car insurance with NFU Mutual as I find their prices and cover excellent and their customer service is always high standard. I'm always able to phone them and have questions or queries deal with promptly. Reviewed on: 25th August 2016

Personal service

Apart from a good price, the best thing about NFU Mutual is their local personal service. No push button answering machine or waiting on the phone listening to rubbish music. You get through to a real person who can actually help you without having to pass you on to a dozen other people. Good old fashioned service. Reviewed on: 2nd August 2016
