Absolutely disgusting service !! My son has had insurance for 6 months no issue, black box has now decided he drives too much !!! Although his driving is 100%. Would have left zero stars if possible. Do not use this rip off insurance company! I just changed my car and gone from group 36 down to group 22, I expected a refund but was charged more... Also my renewal quote is £630 the exact same as my previous car. I did the comparison quotes on Google and quotes from other insurers are at least £300 cheaper. So there it is Quote me happy, also known as aviva are double the price of my other quotes, and they try telling me its not in their control! Absolutely disgusting!!! Reviewed on: 27th February 2025

I renewed with this company but why?!.

I renewed with this company and I can say the service I have received this time wasn’t the greatest. I called serval times for them to change my address even when changing it online and being charged an admin fee for it. Unfortunately my car was written off by another driver and it took 3months to get this sorted. I understand they had to deal with the other insurance company which took full blame of the accident so I am not sure why it took so long to deal with it. I had to chase and make complaints to get a response from anyone from any team as emails were not being answered. In one of my complaint I got a phone call and was offered a compensation sum to help sort out my complaint. And guess what?! I am still waiting for the payment which has now been over a month. Trying to get someone to talk to me or answer me has been very difficult. I decided not to renew this time and I was quick enough to get documents and for them to wash their hands of me but I am really not happy with the service I received. Out of this whole experience I had one really helpful lady Gemma who actually seems like she cared. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend anyone to join Reviewed on: 3rd October 2024

Absolutely disgraceful company, the points system deducts a random amount for every offence, eg one drive has 4 "hard brakes" and 97/100 and another had 1 "hqrd brake" and had 61/100. No customer service to speak to it's all automated. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY. Reviewed on: 17th February 2024

Stay away from this insurance company!!! Ive tried for a whole week to get into contact with anyone but have not been able to do so. The email that we are told to contact if needed anything does not respond to you at all let alone in the timeframe provided by them on when to expect a reply. I was told to contact them within 7 days to provide my v5 document and reason for vehicle change, or risk having my policy cancelled yet i have not received any response or help by anyone. I replied to the email on the exact same day i received it but still waiting for reply. They are able to reply straight away when someone leaves a negative review but when asked for genuine help theyre nowhere to be seen. Can someone please contact me and help me with my issue. Policy did not renew automatically - my fault for not noticing this. However, a new quote immediately (as in, just after midnight) was 50% higher than the renewal quote! You are providing THE SAME COVER to THE SAME CAR over THE SAME TIME PERIOD! Absolutely pathetic conduct, morally bankrupt little company with zero respect for loyal customers and an imbecilic approach to business. You lost my custom for DECADES. Very bad coverage, doesn't even cover if your car breaks down in the UK, although I was told that it is supposed to cover EU, they give you a RAC number but then RAC says you have to pay! Reviewed on: 25th November 2023

I have changed insurance companies to someone new every year I’ve been driving and I have to say, Quote me Happy is the worst insurer I have been with. They lack communication. On hold for a hour at a time and constantly being passed to ‘a manger’. It takes them 2-3weeks to respond to an email. Reviewed on: 6th October 2023

Telematic system did not record journey's. Online only!

I had a problem with the telematic system not recording my journey's. I contacted them via email, and it took 24hrs for them to reply. I got more and more worried that I wouldn't be insured should anything happen that I cancelled it. This is an online service, and it meant that you couldn't speak to anyone about the problem.
