They up the rates excessively each year

Been with them a few years. Good level of cover and easy to deal with if you don't mind on line self serve. But for last 2 years they have upped the rate out of line with the market. Have now departed to new provider with equal level of cover and £100 cheaper. Reviewed on: 8th August 2023

Efficient renewal, quite competitive

Early quote for renewal enabled comparison search. Competitive price amongst known brands, though some smaller brands were cheaper. Have not needed to trigger the insurance since purchase, so no other contact. Reviewed on: 28th July 2023

Telematic system did not record journey's. Online only!

I had a problem with the telematic system not recording my journey's. I contacted them via email, and it took 24hrs for them to reply. I got more and more worried that I wouldn't be insured should anything happen that I cancelled it. This is an online service, and it meant that you couldn't speak to anyone about the problem. I ended up buying a new policy elsewhere. Reviewed on: 17th May 2023

Car not repaired from 2 months

They took my car 2 months ago and still haven't fixed it. After asking questions where my car claims that aviva has not paid for storage the car therefore my car is not yet repaired. I bought insurance in Quotemyhappy not Aviva maybe if it's public, someone will finally take care of my car Money can be taken for insurance, but there is no one to repair the car Reviewed on: 11th February 2023

Avoid at all costs ive been insured with quote me happy for three years and all is fine untill you need to claim my car was hit by the third party non fault claim the damage was minor damaged on the rear offside wheelarch...Solus estimated the damage via photo's at £3,000 and said my car is only worth £2,000 and said they are writing it off, bearing in mind the cost of the repair has to be 50% more than the cars value so conviently it was £3,000. Yesterday the 3rd november i took it for a 2nd and 3rd assesment to two insurance accredited garages and was quoted £200 and £230 for the same work i rang quote me happy and apparently my and the other two bodywork repair garages opinion doesn't matter and if i continue with my claim my car will be written off so i have closed the claim and now have to pay for the repairs myself...and the quote me happy customer service was quite rude i wont be renewing my policy and neither will my son the cheapest isn't always the best Reviewed on: 5th November 2022

Competently priced, easy to set up, great if you don't have an accident!

Competitively priced,easy to set up and manage. My problems began when I was in a crash that wasn't my fault. The claims people were really good, but sorting the cars on the account got passed back to support who only respond by email. They didn't seem to know what they were doing and gave multiple conflicting responses over what I should be doing. Their legal services partner is dreadful, the other side admitted liability after 3 months but 6 months on from the accident, I'm still fighting to get the medical reports & documents sorted out so they can maybe progress to negotiation with the other side. Definitely not impressed. Definitely won't be using this firm again. Reviewed on: 16th September 2022

Easy to apply for car insurance, no increases on the second year, infarct payment reduced. To me that's a fair company doing the right thing for its loyal customers. Easy to adjust policy via app. I am a very happy customer. Reviewed on: 14th September 2022
