So I am a community mental health nurse and about 6...

So I am a community mental health nurse and about 6 weeks ago whilst on a visit I got caught in the floods. I drove my Jaguar through a puddle in the road I couldn’t avoid and then lost my power steering and mode control. I called the insurance and they said an engineer would come out to look at Damage. Next day engineer called me to say he would not be coming out because it’s a common fault. I asked him were he got his info he said Google. So I called Jaguar and they said this simply isn’t true. So I contacted my insurance again. They said he should have come out and would sort it out. But could not give me a courtesy car as they hadn’t looked at it. This went on for 5 weeks and in the end I had to tell them I have no choice but to get legal team involved. The next day my car was picked up. However, sill no courtesy car as the engineer is yet to turn up at the garage to look at my car. I need my car as I am a community mental health nurse I told them this but they simply don’t care. I have business insurance and pay for a courtesy car. I believe Aviva insurance are the underwriters. So stay clear of these. They still haven’t sorted this and I’m about to go into week 7. £100,000 contents, unlimited buildings cover

I have £100,000 contents cover, unlimited buildings cover, legal services cover for about £150 this year. Part of Aviva group, a multi national company. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2024

Easy, cheap and comprehensive

The application process was easy, the forms and questions are clear and articulate. The price was the best I could find for the level of cover provided and I'm happy to manage everything online. Reviewed on: 14th September 2023

Great cover, good value.

quotemehappy.com is run by Aviva, a multi national company. I have unlimited buildings cover, £200,000 contents cover and legal expenses cover. All for about £134 for a years cover, which was quite a bit more than the previous year at about £108. But couldn't find any other who could come near the price. I think the competitive premium is because its stripped of any built-in commission e.g. you don't find the company on cashback websites. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023
