Review of the Saga, Travel insurance:

Do not use their holiday insurance.

Had faith until taken ill and needed to make claims. Then it showed policy is worthless. They use on Astrenska,who use Collinson Insurance to handle claims. They don't answer the phone but text you to go on line. Finally got paper copies, sent back 9 May. Suddenly email on 23 may for more information. They received it 25 May. Since then nothing. No replies to my emails, or letters. No updates. Suggest you look at reviews on COLLINSON Insurance company. Saga say they are short of staff When needed, found to be wanting. Take heed. Saga still pushing these policies. And a line in their quote, says how easy it is for you to process a claim. BE WARNED . Reviewed on: 14th June 2023

Medical emergency

My late wife spent 3 weeks in a Canary Island hospital and was repatriated by private air ambulance together with dedicated doctor and nursing staff. A Saga representative supported us throughout the traumatic ordeal. Reviewed on: 28th September 2021

Everything required in an annual travel policy

Above and beyond

When our flight was delayed, we availed of the flight assistance supplied through our travel insurance. We were receiving flight information updates from Saga before our airline was providing the information. We were able to use a separate lounge with refreshments and facilities provided.
