Useless!

Aside from their good interest rates, avoid this bank unless you want to deal with people you can't get through to via telephone or chat, are not helpful or knowledgeable and you don't want to be able to access or transfer any money. Do not use Ulster bank!

The most incompetent bank I have ever dealt with. Failed chaps payment and jo customer service to help resolve the issue. Each team in the bank has no knowledge of what the other is trying to do so your requests go unanswered. Please avoid ulster bank Reviewed on: 6th August 2021

Many years of disappointment

Based on my 6 years of experience, I don't recommend them to people who would like to keep their money safe or need a competent customer service. - Criminals can easily steal thousands from your account with no consequences - If you call the customer service with a problem for 5 times, you will get 5 completely different answers - The information they provide is frequently misleading or false Reviewed on: 2nd July 2020

In order to manage my account, I have the UB app on multiple devices. It runs smoothly and has more features than I can think to use. Everything that I would want to do on a day to day basis is at my finger tips. For more complex things that I would need to do, their website has extremely easy to navigate GUI, and due to the requirements needed to make larger payments, I am secure in the knowledge that my money is safe with them, and easily accessible to myself. As a result of the data breach with Ticket master, my card details were compromised, and before they had notified me that my details were compromised, my card was used fraudulently. The payment was stopped, I was notified that my card was used, and when I contacted them I got a replacement card. They were able to identify and stop fraud before any money was ever taken out of my account. Reviewed on: 6th February 2019

I've never ever had any problems with Ulster Bank and find that their knowledge of their customer (i.e. me) means that they always have my best interests at heart. They're quick of the mark if something doesn't seem right with the account but also quick to rectify any misunderstandings. Reviewed on: 26th June 2018
