Absolutely useless company

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Virgin Money's customer service, and I feel compelled to share my frustration to warn others. The lack of professionalism and disregard for customer concerns displayed by this company is truly disheartening. My initial contact with them was through a phone call to address an unauthorized charge that appeared on my account. The representative I spoke to demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and failed to provide any satisfactory resolution. I was appalled by their dismissive attitude towards my complaint and their inability to comprehend the severity of the situation. Feeling left with no other recourse, I mentioned my intention to file an official complaint with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Yet their actions were slow and lacked any urgency, further exacerbating my frustration. To provide undeniable evidence of the poor customer service experience, I shared a recording of the phone conversation as requested by the company. I had hoped that this evidence would prompt a swift resolution, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. The lack of transparency and accountability displayed by VM is utterly unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect, and I demand prompt action when faced with unauthorized charges. Regrettably, they have failed to meet these basic expectations. I urge potential customers to think twice before engaging with Virgin Money. Their customer service is abysmal, and their apparent indifference to resolving issues leaves much to be desired. Save yourself the frustration and seek out a company that values its customers and takes their concerns seriously. It is my hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale for others and encourages Virgin Money to reevaluate its approach to customer service. No one should have to endure the disappointment and inconvenience that I have experienced. Please take my warning seriously and consider alternative options for your own peace of mind. Good banking app and competitive fees

Disgusted with fees

Purchased a product from an overseas seller and while I understand there are international transaction fees I wasn't expecting $130 for a computer to change one currency to another! It's not like they are paying someone a wage to do it. It's a computer to another computer. My nab debit card is international fee free so it really makes you wonder how a company like virgin can rip people off and yet nab bank can absorb the fee. Both cards are no annual fee so I don't understand. But I will be closing the account and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Stay away from them. Reviewed on: 11th March 2025

Please don’t use This card

My card got hacked so I cancelled the card. Asked for a new card to be sent out . Card was sent to the wrong address, when I contacted them to ask where my card was they wouldn’t tell me the address it was sent to. They just said it wasn’t sent to the address I asked. I Tried the same process again giving them my address 3 times making sure they had the correct address. Again the same thing happened, I’ve never had an issue receiving mail at this Address, it’s now been one month no card. Tried several times to resolve the problem and the consultants were of no help whatsoever. This card has a few good things going for it in the rewards program but thats about it. This is the first review I’ve ever wrote custom service is the worst, once your card is locked from being hack you cannot access to see any transactions. I wanted to cancel my card and pay out the balance but couldn’t access my profile to double check the transactions. End of the day worst experience cannot recommend this card whatsoever Reviewed on: 10th February 2025

If you have a credit card and an an app but are locked out of your account they are not open 24/7 to unlock your app, not even on a Sunday. If u are in a tight spot rubbish, I was absolutely 100% sure I had used the right password - my wedding anniversary been married 26 years and now locked out went online to try and log in there and not 100% sure of password and now locked out - chose a company with 24/7 customer service please, looking to switch , was messed around on phone told incorrect information ie was open 24/7 so wasted a lot of time !
