Left me alone in the middle of the night cold and alone couldn't have cared less about my situation and spoke to me in an AWFUL manner. Incorrect payment

I've been charged a fee from this company who I've never even heard of before!! No previous or ongoing policies with them, therefore no set up direct debits! Very confused and concerned as to how they have retrieved my bank details, and charged me this fee without communicating with me. I have received no posts, emails or phone calls from them. Shame on you.

Shame on you. I am recovering from heart attack and flu. My car needed a jump start because the battery was flat. You responded well BUT as I was on my way - because it’s a hybrid it stopped again at a busy junction and you refused to come out again saying I should have taken to a garage!! How could I get it to a garage when I was stuck at a traffic lights and the car would not move. A very kind stranger stopped and went the extra mile to assist with a jump start. Shame on you. They should be prosecuted for robbery and scam.

Got a flat tyre on a freezing day. Called the company and said I may have hit the kerb but was not sure. They refused any cover and instead offered to get the flat tyre replaced with the spare tyre in my car for £826. Stay away as they'll manage to find an excuse not to help and exploit you in that desperate situation. Reviewed on: 12th December 2024

Don't fall for the price, service is disgraceful

My husband broke down, by sheer chance, opposite a car repair place which was closed at the time (6pm). We contacted 2gether Breakdown and gave the name of the car repair place so they could easily find us. We were in an unsafe place on a main road at peak traffic time. We were told that they could not pick us up as we were 'at a place of repair'. They naturally offered us a paid service (going into hundreds of pounds) despite us having a premium level policy. We declined this and ended up paying £96 for a local service instead. Upon complaining, someone from Emergency Assist (trading as 2gether Breakdown) advised me the complaint would not be upheld and we can only go to Small Claims Court if we want to escalate. I checked reviews of this company and all the 5 star reviews are for price but all the 1 star reviews are for the service - it appears they do anything to avoid coming out for free and will always find a way to make customers pay. Will hang up on you and leave you stranded.

Wife's handbrake broke whilst travelling to work this morning. She called 2gether who refused to help stating that you can still drive with a broken handbrake. Maybe the women who took the call has 3 feet as i think its the only otherway possible to hold a car on a hill at traffic lights. They hung up on my my leaving her distraught and in tears. 2gether clearly not working together with their customer. I telephone 2gether and after a very long conversation they agreed to get the supervisor to call me back. That was 6 1/2 hours ago. I wish I had seen all of these negative reviews prior purchasing. Also may I add that the law states that it is illegal to drive with a broken handbrake. So also this company is happy for their customers to drive breaking the law. Reviewed on: 22nd October 2024

Scammer!

CAR BREAKDOWN SCAMMERS

*CAR BREAKDOWN* Scammers do not use they will leave you high and dry and stranded They do not cover you if you your car will not start if it hasn't started before basically left in the middle of nowhere offer to come out to me for an extra £140 plus parts absolute joke of a company do not use READING THE OTHER POOR REVIEWS IT SEEMS THAT ALL THE POWER REVIEWS ARE FROM THE BREAKDOWN SIDE OF THINGS MAYBE THEY SHOULD LOOK AT THAT NB Also extremely unhelpful on the telephone Reviewed on: 21st August 2024

I was on Holiday in Dorset and went out for the day...

I was on Holiday in Dorset and went out for the day to Swanage from the camp site I was staying at and halfway there 3- lights came on the dashboard, I decided to abort my visit and return to the campsite where I phoned the breakdown company 2Gether, at first they had no details of my breakdown cover after finding them they then refused to come out to my car. I was able to tow the car back behind my Motorhome and on my return my mechanic fixed the problem with a reader in 1/2 hour. I complained to the company but have not had any reply, avoid this company at all costs as they are a waste of time, pay more and get a better service. Reviewed on: 6th August 2024

Breakdown Call Out!!

This company should be avoided at all cost!! They may be cheap initially but if you need their "offered" services you will then find ot that they are "cheap and nasty!!" Their so called UK Full cover is a sham! It is firstly recovery to a garage to see if the car can be repaired, you will have to source the garage yourself as they can't recommend one! Next, if you can get a garage to look at your car the same day and attempt repair, highly unlikely, you will be on your way. If not you will have to wait possibly days and only when your car is declared unrepairable will you get recovered to your home or garage local to you. If you don't want to do this you can pay personaly for a recovery, that they of course can arrange bless them, which in my case would've been just under £1100 for 112 miles!! The AA would've done the same recovery at personal cost to me for £500!! After I had finished speaking to their charmless and sarcastic "robot like" operator I spoke to the AA, joined as an emergency member, also joining for the rest of the year which was £239 but from there on worth every penny as I was then in the hands of a professional organisation not a dodgy couldn't care less cowboy outfit like this!!
