Don't believe the price, its cheap for a reason, they will find any loophole possible to get out of recovering your car without first lumber you with a £120 charge. My car wouldnt start so I called asking them to recover it, as it was a sunday and no local garages open they advised they couldn't come out unless they could take it to a garage so I had to leave the car. Called again 2 days later having arrange a gagrage to take it to, I mentioned I was hoping it was just a flat battery perhaps due to lights being left on (but not sure for certain) and they said they could no longer come out to recover the car unless I paid £120 up front as it could be my own fault. This service is cheap for a reason, they want to wait until people are in a desperate situation to hike the fees up. Awful service and awful advisors avoid like the plague, pay a bit more for recovery where they will come out regardless of why the car won't start. Reviewed on: 21st February 2024

Avoid this company at all costs!!!

Avoid this company at all costs! My car broke down due to an alternator issue, 2Gether arranged for a recovery truck to be sent to me within an hour and a half. However, I received a call an hour later saying that they were refusing to collect the car as the issue 'may be related to a previous claim.' I'm not sure how an alternator has anything to do with the clutch! Abysmal customer service who couldn't car whether you stay with them or go elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Ridiculous

Would give 0 if I could! Guy calls 4 hours after being reported to say he only just got the job sent through. Thankfully now home and warm! I'll let my email explain the rest... ***Good evening, I write this email from the roadside as I am still awaiting a tow vehicle having called in at 12:52 today. I was called at 13:26 and advised a vehicle would be with me by 14:20. At 14:50 I called as no one had attended. I was told a further 45 minutes. At 15:52 I called and was told 10 minutes. At 16:00 I was told 25 minutes. At 16:35 I was told 10-15 minutes. At 16:52 I was told 10 minutes. I was told on this call that she had explicitly spoken to the operative herself and that he would be 10 minutes. I am a woman, on my own by the side of a single carriage way in the dark. I honestly cannot comprehend how it has taken this long when your phone lines state 90 minutes. I have had numerous members of the public who have driven by over 3 hours ago and offered food, water and assistance as they can see I have been waiting for hours. It's beyond embarrassing. I would appreciate a call from the manager to discuss as this is completely and utterly unacceptable.*** Operative called at 17:12 stating he'd be 20 minutes and that he had only just received the job. They will tell you that they will be there in 1-2hrs but 4hrs later they will call to cancel and will charge you 90£ for cancellation fee. That's how they make money, not on the premium. So if you have already the policy on them, don't even try to call them unless you want to pay more. it is recommended to have another breakdown insurance rather than paying 90£. Breakdown cover is a scam

Had 'Full UK' 2gether breakdown insurance or so I thought. Called due to exhaust coming off hanger causing it to trail on floor so couldn't be driven. Then I found out the hard way this isn't a proper breakdown solution. Phone rang for 30 mins to be told the 'Full UK' cover doesn't cover recovery more than 25 miles from your home address (not mentioned in the policy as far as I can see) and YOU need to identify a local garage open and willing to carry out a repair yourself. Imagine what the police would say if you told them you were ringing around for a garage sat in a live lane on the M62? Is that full UK cover or any cover? What if you don't have a smartphone with a internet signal? They then cut you off and tell you to rejoin the telephone queue again once you've rung round and found a garage willing to attempt a repair. They are keen to tell you you're on your own if they are late and the garage has now closed and will leave you on your own whether it's fixed or not. Call out time is 1-2 hours. They asked lots of questions to try and wriggle out from providing any cover at all, mentioning additional costs they're keen to levy. Don't waste your money on a partial policy, their marketing claims it doesn't cut corners and covers any eventuality which is a blatant lie. Completely misrepresents the reality, you'll feel you've been scammed. If you breakdown in the middle of the night away from home good luck, you'll be lucky to get any support. Not a good experience. Try everything to get out of recovering your vehicle

I took family cover to ensure all of our vehicles were covered. When contacting they refused to recover the vehicle - as they had recovered the vehicle previously with an unrelated fault. They asked to an invoice for previous repair that was provided. DO NOT USE !!!!!! Will never take an insurance backed cover again - will stick to RAC or AA Reviewed on: 3rd December 2023

Terrible Service

Terrible service from 2Gether. I just phoned up to report my car won't start. A customer service agent told me that I had a 'similar issue 7 months ago'. I explained that I got a new alternator fitted back in April so this is different. He then told me I had to prove I had a new alternator fitted or he wouldn't send anyone out with out charging me the minimum fee! How does he think I've driven my car for the last seven months??? £30 call out fee and £10 cancellation fee of before 14 days cool off period.

I came across this policy on Go Compare, specifically choosing an option with no excess or call-out fees. It was listed at the top and seemed perfect, so I followed the link, answered the questions, and never saw any mention of a £30 call-out fee. The documents arrived, and to my surprise, the call-out fee was the first thing I noticed. I chose to emailed them, given their phone contact number was a premium rate number which set off another alarm bell ringing. I explained the problem and requesting a refund. Their reply stated a £10 cancellation fee. I escalated my reply to a complaint, this was met with the claim that there were warnings about the call-out fee throughout the application, which was not true. I reiterated my request for a refund, stating that prioritizing a £10 fee over customer satisfaction and potential negative feedback seems shortsighted. I define cannot recommend a company run by cow boys that seems to operate in a less-than-honest manner. Reviewed on: 9th November 2023

Cheap for a reason, they suck

Had puncture, called and over an hour with still no answer. I had to call an emergency mobile repair company, which renders this breakdown service useless. Took out Green Flag the following day. This company and beyond awful and should be avoided and reviewed as they are rogue traders. Reviewed on: 20th October 2023

ADMIN FEE WHEN YOU CANCEL WITHIN 14 DAYS

Bought a policy on Tuesday because I had warning lights on. Called on Wednesday for breakdown help Told policy does not cover the issue Asked for refund immediately Told that since Im within 14day calling period I will get refund MINUS £10 It is written in their terms but this is ridiculous I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
