Review of the Monument, Savings:

I am unsure about his App.

I am unsure about his App. I opened a 45-day notice account and all went well- easy to set up and use the App. However, on trying to withdraw my money I noticed there is no option/button to close the account nor nothing telling me what the daily interest is/ has be earnt. So, I could only draw out the Balance amount displayed minus the interest which stays in the account after the withdrawal? -according to a chat session. As I thought this was rather silly, I changed my interest payments from compounded to being paid into my linked account. This didn’t happen and the interest has stayed in my account. On using the chat facility again, I was told there is a technical glitch and I would have to wait 48hrs to get my money. Not impressed. The other idea of not having a log out button is plain daft- The reason is safety/security so you can’t remain logged in? All decent apps allow you to log out and then automatically log you out anyway after a period of inactivity – some of which you can set to a particular timer i.e. 2mins, 5mins etc. This App is just LAZY. This App needs a CLOSING ACCOUNT button and a LOG OUT button – it also needs to FUNCTION properly. If I have got to ring/chat to you every time I needed to do something with my money then what's the point of an App at all? Is the App working for Monument or Monument working for the App? Looking for good Investment

I was looking to invest my money and came across your rates on Martin Lewis newsletter. It took a while as your site was inundated with customers all wanting the good rates. Even though I missed the deadline due to the withdrawal of the offer Monument honoured my application as I had completed the form in time.I was most grateful. Good interest rate

I am so grateful to have found Monument Bank

I love it - I put a break in my house buying search because of the economy and I wanted to put some of my deposit in a high yielding account. Monument was by far the best. Not only that - the app is so smart and slick! This is what I wish old school banks would be like, since they have the funds to come up with something better.... But alas Monument bank has such a great user experience! Not only that! Unfortunately my phone was stolen at the start of the year and I forgot everything with regards to accessing my Monument account. The client service team got back to me within 15 minutes after my email. Everything was sorted in 2 days - not because of delays, but because I had to provide a lot of materials. Communication was flawless - they let me know when they received what they needed from me, what stage they were at, and if there was any delay I was told when the task would be finished and what delayed it. I love Monument bank because I don't think about it besides recommending it to others and that's what I want from a bank - security, great value, fabulous customer service and to not think and worry about it. Easy to deal with
