Never had a problem with my bank.

They are closing my local branch in Barrhead the old...

They are closing my local branch in Barrhead the old bank in town and it is used mainly by the older generations who now have to travel to the nearest bank with no bus route available They do not even reply to letters I have sent They have also removed their treasurers account for small local clubs and are treating us as a business and charging us for putting money in or taking our money out and cheques arentoo expensive to use Reviewed on: 4th April 2025

Friendly, helpful and reliable

Bank of scotland provide me with an easy to mange current account with a comfortable overdraft facilty. Excellent email and text communications. Reviewed on: 9th April 2023

A very well run account with a straightforward overdraft process(rarely needed now!) What a difference from the shambolic days of HBOS!! Reviewed on: 30th April 2022

Always so easy to get through to customer service

Fab bank to be with. So easy to get in touch with any quieries or if your worried about scams etc. I like that you can text them and go about your day whilst they respond. A* customer service Reviewed on: 3rd April 2022

Easy bank to deal with

Mostly online however when I go into a branch, and amazingly there is one fairly local to me I am greeted with a smile, a good morning how may I help and generally I leave confident that the service provided was just what was needed. Reviewed on: 31st March 2022

Customer Service

There appears to be a lot of confusion, amongst both customers and staff, as to what HBoS actually is and who the driving force is, is it Halifax is it Bank of Scotland or Lloyds. This leads to a huge amount of confusion with regards to products and contact details. A lot must improve immediately or a lot of custom will be lost. Reviewed on: 13th January 2022
