Best for value and Customer service level is top notch!

When lockdown hit I realised I was spending a fortune on insurance even though I wasn't able to go anywhere in my car. I looked at lots of different insurers and came across by Miles. It made sense that as I wasn't driving much that I should aim for an insurance that charged by the mile. It saved me a fortune. I now work from home full time so I decided to renew the insurance in the hope it would continue to save me money. When renewing I got a cheaper price per mile which made me feel valued as a customer. I do drive daily to different places so I can get my shopping, take my toddler out etc but it never works out more a month than your average pay monthly insurances. When we have been on extremely long journeys the miles are capped at £10 a day which means you don't have to worry about travelling to far on the miles. This makes a huge difference when travelling on hidalgo or trips to the zoo. I have had queries regarding different things during my time with bymiles and everytime the customer services have been amazing. They are friendly, polite and will do anything in their power to help. There is an app that you can download to track your miles, this has features on it that mean you can scan your car for any error codes, you can see exactly how much your insurance is at any time during the month and you can even put a destination in to check how much it would cost in miles and fuel before commencing on your journey. The app also includes all of your policy details and your previous bills. It is a very well thought out application is easy to use. I can not recommend this company more! Amazing all round. Unable to contact customer service

I was very keen to explore this as I rarely use my car these days. I have two questions for which I need responses before committing to a policy. For three weeks I have been emailing, calling and starting chats on their web site and not a single person has responded. Why i like bymile

Bymile has been a life saver and has made my life financially sound. By paying only for the miles that I do I am more in control of my outgoing. By mile response team are very good and always get a prompt response. I am paying around 600 pound per year. Which is atleast 700 pound cheaper than most insurance and that too without a box. Fairly priced, tailored method of car insurance.

Great until eenewal

No issues and a good service. Price then increased by around 50% after two years of consistent pricing. Was able to get a quote cheaper than my original amount elsewhere. Miles into Smiles

This is a car insurance which is different in its approach to premiums. It’s rates are very competitive and when it was time to renew I was very pleasantly surprised to find my premiums lower than the year before. Guess what I did, I renewed. Reviewed on: 28th September 2022

Cheapest car insurance

I drive less compared to the average and spent a lot more on insurance in the past until I found By miles! Been with them for two years and signed up for the third! They have reduced my premium every year so far and I'm saving at least 40% compared to the next cheapest insurance on the market, which is great!
