Best for value and Customer service level is top notch!

When lockdown hit I realised I was spending a fortune on insurance even though I wasn't able to go anywhere in my car. I looked at lots of different insurers and came across by Miles. It made sense that as I wasn't driving much that I should aim for an insurance that charged by the mile. It saved me a fortune. I now work from home full time so I decided to renew the insurance in the hope it would continue to save me money. When renewing I got a cheaper price per mile which made me feel valued as a customer. I do drive daily to different places so I can get my shopping, take my toddler out etc but it never works out more a month than your average pay monthly insurances. When we have been on extremely long journeys the miles are capped at £10 a day which means you don't have to worry about travelling to far on the miles. This makes a huge difference when travelling on hidalgo or trips to the zoo. I have had queries regarding different things during my time with bymiles and everytime the customer services have been amazing. They are friendly, polite and will do anything in their power to help. There is an app that you can download to track your miles, this has features on it that mean you can scan your car for any error codes, you can see exactly how much your insurance is at any time during the month and you can even put a destination in to check how much it would cost in miles and fuel before commencing on your journey. The app also includes all of your policy details and your previous bills. It is a very well thought out application is easy to use. I can not recommend this company more! Amazing all round. Fantastic Company!

ByMiles is a great and consistent company. I’ve had issues with my car in the past and they were very helpful and understanding in helping me with my issues. Great all round experience

The tracker is easy to install and the app is great, you can track your mileage and get notifications on your miles per journey, but you can switch these off at any time in the app; other notifications include possible charges on your journey and if your car battery is low. It tells you if you are on track for a refund at the end of the year. The app also has features such as health check, because it plugs into the same diagnostic port that your garage would use to diagnose any faults. It also features estimate my journey, you just enter each postcode and it will tell you. Also being a tracker it has a find my car feature. You can also refer friends and family in the app for 100 miles of free credit! I highly recommend it if you are a low mileage user Reviewed on: 22nd September 2022

The perfect insurance for urban drivers

As someone living in London, my car is a luxury and a convenience for the family, one which I'll regularly skip to walk, ride or take the train, so paying only when I do actually use it is a great solution for our family. Car insurance done differently!
