Second to none

Howdens have found me the best car insurance quote for two consecutive years. Their customer service is second to none and they remind me a month before my car insurance is due each year. Their customer emails are very informative and you don’t feel bombarded. Reviewed on: 5th September 2025

Great renewal experience with Howden

I switched to Howden last year and have just renewed my policy. The customer service was great and the prices was actually lower than last year. I left my last company because they would raise the price considerably at renewal time. Reviewed on: 5th September 2025

Just moved house - £63 in admin charges

Just moved house. I was charged £63 in admin charges for my campervan insurance. If you think you are going to make any changes mid policy, you really need to check their terms and conditions on admin charges, they are eye watering. This will include adding drivers, removing drivers, moving house. Be aware. Reviewed on: 21st September 2024

Howden Luton ( A Plan).

The staff at Luton Howden are helpful and provide an excellent service.They are stop shop for all my insurance requirements across 5 policies. IThey work hard to get me the best deals from their range of insurers. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

20years and still feel happy with there service

I have used APlan now Howdan for around last 20years. I have 7different policies with them. A 10years ago went back to shopping around online. I got cheaper quote but they were not the same level of cover. Howdons are very helpful and informative. They are also proactive before renewals. Probably the best car insurance company I’ve used!

I recently had a car accident which was the third parties fault. I have been driving for 17 years & this was my first accident. I had no idea how the process works but Howden’s explained everything step by step to me so I could fully understand. They updated me on any progress which was so reassuring. They arranged for me to have a hire car through Kindertons who again, were incredible! I have recommended Howden’s to multiple people since my accident! Reviewed on: 5th June 2024
