Avoid like the plague if you can take them to small claims court if they mess you about and harrass you I have they are the worst insurance company for car insurance going beware read customer reviews not trust pilot they are not easy to make complaints to they are corporate softly softly approach use small claims court it's easy once you get to know the procedure all the rest onsbudman et. Are dogs with no teeth only the court has the power to fight them. As the old saying goes DONT LET THE BSTRDS. GRIND YOU DOWN. Do it the proper way by small claims court. Be careful read all of the small print

I've just sat and read.my agreement again, I borrowed 10 as I put a large deposit down. Advised a monthly payment I'm paying back 5k interest. Trying to get through to cancel the agreement. Been on hold nearly an hour. First person obviously working feom home answered dropped my call back on hold Reviewed on: 11th August 2023

Honestly don't care about customers

I've had a vehicle financed through them since December 2022. Drove the car for a few days and noticed the car wasn't driving straight. Turns out the veichle had damage from a previous smack that's tried to be covered up off the books. I've emailed and called countless times and no one is ever available to answer. Just a complete joke of a company. I have no access to any other vehicle and I can't even drive this one. Reviewed on: 4th July 2023

awful company

i had purchased a car using Close Brother MF in 2019 and paid off said car in 2020. They refused to remove the credit markers for 3 years, stating i was defaulting since 2020. (After multiple requests to do so). I made a complaint and they finally removed it from my credit file. i was told i was due 150 compensation, and yet 3 weeks later i still have nothing to show for it. i will be contacting ombudsman with my complaint. Do not use this finance company

Close brothers motor finance have no customer service . As a customer that has paid every payment for 3 years , I had an issue with my bank and 1 payment did not get paid on the date it was due to be paid ( by Direct Debit ) BUT I promptly paid it the following day , they then send me a letter to say they are charging me £25 for a late payment fee and £15 for a that letter , I emailed their complaints department twice and they don’t have the respect to reply . I would not recommend this company or if I ever need finance again it would never be with close brothers !. Reviewed on: 5th June 2023

Bad

I am really disappointed with profesionalism of this company. There works by a bunch of claunes and not a professional. One person wrote back to an email where he was not helpful at all, I waited more than 30 minutes to the phone call, without an answer. This should not treat your clients. Please do not read the highest ratings because they write their employees. I will write everywhere and warned against this company, I regret that I decided to do it Reviewed on: 15th May 2023

not regulates , total fraud

Warning these guys are not egulated by the FCA! Any misconduct you wll not be able to report them. They illegaly set up a direct account to access my account without me agreemin their terms . when I reported it They saiD you can go to the FCA, but they will not have our approval to investgate. No issues, smooth running

I had the chance to experience close brothers car finance over the past 7 months and had no issues. Customer service spot on also getting information over the phone was efficient on their side. Would I use them again probably not due to the circumstances I was in at the time and needed a new car for job. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2023

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!

Honestly the biggest shambles of a company ever experienced !| Made a formal complaint regarding the car we had taken finance out on as it had broken down / engine was in smoking and multiple other things over four times in the first six weeks of owning the car. Michele Taylor from Close brothers "head of complaints" apparently !!!! Was honestly the most unhelpful person I have ever met, SEVEN MONTHS later I am still chasing her. She avoids phone calls, no response to emails, when you do get hold of her she makes ridiculous excuses non of which solve the fact that I am paying for a car I cannot use !! STILL we have no solution. I wouldn't touch this finance company with a barge pole !!!!!!! Still waiting for a call back eight months later. DIO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!
