TERRIBLE

Sent my phone away to have a screen replaced - pretty standard for a phone insurance company, the phone was out of my possession for two weeks, where I was then told my phone exterior would be changed to a gold colour rather than the rose gold colour I had specifically chosen, unless of course I wanted to wait a further 2 weeks for rose gold parts. I received my phone today after it being with the company for 19 days. I wish this was the end of my nightmare but unfortunately the phone has now been returned to me with a broke microphone, so no one at all can hear me ( a problem that was not there when I sent the phone for repair). This company are a total scam and I am awaiting information with regards to how they will now approach this issue, wondering if they will take responsibility. I am genuinely disgusted and wish I had have paid a bit more for a reliable insurance company. Reviewed on: 12th June 2017

Quick and a decent price

Relatively quick and helpful.

Most of the reviews I've seen for covercloud seem to be based on the very reasonable price of the cover but what happens if you need to make a claim? Well when our washing machine broke down I called them to activate our repair plan and I must say I was very impressed. Quick and polite on the phone I had an engineers appointment 48 hours later. He came when he said he would and was kept up to date with automatic text messages. Apparently the machine needed 2 new parts which would take a couple of days to order in. This was last Thursday. When I hadn't heard anything by the following Wednesday I called and they were very apologetic and said the matter would be dealt with urgently as we had no washing machine and 2 small children! One of the parts needed was out of stock so this morning they called and said because it might take a while to source the part they had instead decided to just replace the machine with a new one! They even said I could choose my own up to a certain value from whatever online store I liked so decided on one from AO.com and called them back. They ordered it while on the phone to them and it's coming on Saturday. I am extremely happy with the service they provided and apart from having to chase them up with a phone call it was a great experience in how an insurance company should be run. Simple

Cover Cloud have been so clear and simple to deal with, from the fantastic easy to use website that guides you through the process to the handy reminders when my insurance was nearing renual. Straightforward, no hassle, very quick to sort out my claim.

Broke my iPhone, phoned up Covercloud, got a decision instantly, had the phone picked up buy currier the next day. and got my replacement 5 days later. So from start to finish was only 5 days. Matter dealt with very quickly

I called up to cancel my phone insurance. Very helpful person (Colin) on the other end who had my query dealt with within minutes. Asked if I needed further help, I wanted to purchase laptop insurance he very kindly sent me a promotional code and the emails within minutes. Very good customer service and prices very reasonable. Excellent and personalised service

I was worried about insuring my phone as it is a replacement from Apple, after I accidentally damaged my original phone, and would therefore not match my contract phone IMEI. Was put in contact with Colin by the staff on online chat who personally called me to confirm it would be ok to insure. Wouldn't get that anywhere else. Highly recommend!
