Dishonest business model built on misleading customers

Dishonest business, My bike was insured through CoverCloud (an Acumen Insurance brand) & White horse Insurance. Both will say anything in order to refuse to pay claims on technicalities, despite being pointed to evidence of theft, damages and past rulings of the Ombudsman. Be prepared for a dragged out (5 month+ and counting) process where the insurer will waste your time, require all sorts of statements & reports before finally rejecting your claim and referring you to the Ombudsman for a genuine claim. In any case, do not let them bully you. Fight back - do go to the Ombudsman as they will do the right thing and can even award interest on the unpaid claim. Reviewed on: 6th September 2022
