I recently applied for a mortgage with HINCKLEY AND...

I recently applied for a mortgage with HINCKLEY AND RUGBY BUILDING SOCIETY and was initially approved for £288,000. However, the offer was unexpectedly reduced to £273,000 without a clear explanation. Despite paying a £199 application fee, I have yet to receive a refund, despite multiple attempts to contact customer service. This sudden change caused significant stress and wasted valuable time. I believe the lender's initial assessment was flawed, as the discrepancy of £15,000 is too large to be attributed to a simple error. Additionally, I am disappointed that my bonus was not fully considered in the initial decision-making process. If you are considering applying for a mortgage with HINCKLEY AND RUGBY BUILDING SOCIETY, I would advise caution.
