No hesitation in recommending HRBS

From setting up the account to transferring funds across to our 90 Day Notice account, we have not had any frustrations, lack of understanding of our sector or long waits for resolutions. The call centre staff have always gone above and beyond to help with my query and have answered the phone in a timely manner. Reviewed on: 3rd September 2026

Problem sorted

I don't use the internet, so made an appointment with H&R to open an ISA. But the afternoon before, another building society failed to produce the promised cheque of funds from a matured account which I needed for the investment. I had to accept an inter-bank transfer to my current account instead, and arrived in Rugby - 20 miles from home - the following day unsure whether the funds would have cleared. I was very pleased when Neil was able to suggest a couple of ways to deal with this which didn't involve another 20-mile trip! Reviewed on: 3rd September 2026

On line log in help

Alice helped my self and my husband sort out a problem with my husband's on line log in. She was extremely helpful and patient. It was all done over the phone and she waited for me to log in and out to make sure everything worked - BRILLIANT! Reviewed on: 3rd September 2026

Excellent customer service...

I came in to set up an ISA following Rita letting me know that the ISA interest rates had gone up twice recently. I had an appointment with Rita and she explained things really clearly, and was so helpful, polite and able to answer all my questions. This is why I love the Hinckley and Rugby at South Wigston, it's the personal face to face service. Always greeted with a smile. I'd also like to thank Linda who recently recommended looking at other savings accounts to increase my interest rate. New ISA account

Neil was very helpful in finding me a better deal on my Isa account, talking me through my options and opened a new account for me while I waited. Reviewed on: 31st August 2026

Friendly and efficient
