Opened an on-line account and it was very quick and simple. However Vernon do limit the range of their accounts that can be opened on-line by non-locals.

Been a member of Leek Building Society for decades. Didn’t have a local branch and some years ago found an agency unhelpful but now they offer on-line access and there have been no problems.
