Avoid this bank

Despite my Cynergy fixed term bond having expired almost 3 weeks ago, I've still to receive the interest I am due. Cynergy have given no explanation for the delay. I've been told on 3 occasions the issue has been "escalated to a bond manager" but this has made no difference at all. I've received no contact from Cynergy and have had to do all the running. This is despite having lodged a formal complaint. I've been surprised to see multiple positive reviews of Cynergy on this platform. My experience of them has been awful. Avoid this bank. Competitive Rates & Great Customer Service

I have been with Cynergy bank for a number of years and I have always been treated fairly. Whenever the Bank issued a higher paying interest rate, I have been able to switch into the latest Issue and benefited from the higher interest rate. Additionally, whenever I have I contacted the customer support team, I was treated with care and they ensured that my queries were answered in full and that I was happy with the answers and service. Really easy to use app and website.

Really easy to use app and website. Great rate on the easy access savings. Transfers between this and my current account held with a different provider are speedy and reliable. Easy to transfer to a new issue at a better rate. Reviewed on: 19th April 2026
