Every South Manchester Credit Union member gets an Open Savings account. Deposits can be made anytime and withdrawals up to once a month. There’s also a Locked account where savings are pledged towards a loan.

Very good way of saving money

Never had a problem putting money in or taking money out. Money was there when asked in my bank account Within two hours. Reliable App also so you can contact them and they always respond back when sending messages. And I like the Christmas club Reviewed on: 18th June 2026

Happy saver over many years

I have been a saver with SMCU for many years. I always find the customer service to be top notch and the savings interest rate is always competitive.
