They are just a Brilliant and FANTASTIC union.

They are just a Brilliant and FANTASTIC union. Really people Focused, Heart Focused, Community Focused. Helping Focused. Not many institutions / places will keep getting straight 5 star reviews. They deserve each and everyone. I just wished I joined sooner, especially being let down by North Manchester. I applied for a top up, and Trish called me to advise my loan had gone though, as took awhile, to get back to her on the app. Just so lovely and thoughtful. All my friends want to join but not Manchester based, they can't belive such a brilliant set of people and principles. Thank you all, greatly appreciated. Reviewed on: 26th June 2026

I cannot thank South Manchester Credit Union enough for the support they have given me over the years. They have always been there for me during difficult times when I needed financial help the most. The staff are friendly, professional, understanding, and treat people with respect and dignity. What I appreciate most is how easy and stress-free they make the process. They genuinely care about their members and always try to help where they can. Their service has given me peace of mind on several occasions, and I am very grateful for their support. Turned me down when i needed the loan most even after doing checks and i provided evidence and all my documents i was still being asked to provide more documents even when they knew they wont give me the loan from the start. I showed that i was genuine. Looks like it was cause i was African, because everyone else who applied with me got it. But its all good. Reviewed on: 23rd June 2026
