I would recommend the Rugby Branch to anybody.

Great local branches are vitally important

Local branches matter to local communities and are desperately important to local populations who find travel difficult or restricting! Today we opened a savings account in the Lutterworth H&R Building Society for and with my elderly father who is no longer able to pay cheques into his Lloyds Bank Account at the Lutterworth Hub as they don’t process cheques anymore. The staff at the H&R branch were wonderful on several prior occasions when we were investigating H&R savings account options and also when opening the account today. Everything was explained, and staff, especially Jo, were very helpful and reassuring. It is likely that, due to the convenience of the local branch, run by knowledgeable and helpful staff, further funds will be transferred from Lloyds to H&R for ease of access and support. Please keep local branches open….. they are vital and the only reason we opened the account. Reviewed on: 28th January 2026
