The person I spoke to was extremely patient and help...

The person I spoke to was extremely patient and helpful. She was able to answer all my queries and was proactive in supplying additional information that was very useful. She was clearly spoken and easy to understand. She didn’t rush the call and didn’t make me feel I was taking up her time. She had excellent communication skills, and was friendly and polite. Mixed experiences

The lady I dealt with the second time round, Alice, was very good and professional and called me back promptly to update me on my query. A completely different expedience to my previous call with an advisor from Hinckley and rugby who didn’t even put my query through, promised to call back with an update and after I waited a month before calling - I find out nothing had been done! Well done Alice for regaining some of the trust I lost in this bank! Reviewed on: 13th March 2026

Very personable team, the support we received when g...

Very personable team, the support we received when going through a difficult time that was out of our control was just fabulous, so helpful, compassionate and understanding. We received regular calls to see how things were and if we needed support/ additional support. Speaking to the support team on the telephone was never a worrying experience. Our issues are now resolved and thankfully we are back on track. Without the support it would have certainly been a more stressful time Reviewed on: 27th February 2026

for my first case the experience has been underwhelm...

for my first case the experience has been underwhelming and frustrating for the following reasons - getting registered was hard work due to H & R issues , application submitted on 51% ltv LTD co BTL then due to obscure background stress test on separate btl ltd co - loan reduced to 49% ltv -challenged and told no movement , challenged again to finally get common sense applied as not difference in risk , now got it offered to be sent a really long winded way to try to get offer to view and check - also all this info has been sent along with Government moneyhelp document direct to client - as my client introduced to H & R i would expect to see what is being sent to client and also for client to also have to register and log in to try to receive offer document is painful . glad we have got it to offer but it was hard work Reviewed on: 20th February 2026
