A simple account for simple businesses

HSBC set the account up very quickly and were extremely helpful in facilitating this process and I would recommend the account to others on this experience alone. I have operated the account for a year for a simple company and it does everything I need of it perfectly, quickly and efficiently. There's nothing to complain or criticise about it, I am a happy customer! Reviewed on: 8th March 2023

Account opening welcome document requires £15

I recently opened a business account with HSBC kinetic. I could see my account number and sort code on the mobile application, but there is no PDF document or welcome pack showing my account details. Since the account was just opened, there was no statement available. I wanted the account details in a document format so that it could be uploaded to my payment partner website. When I chatted with the customer care, I was told there is no document available as kinetic is mobile banking only and asked me for £15 to confirm my bank account details. Smart and easy to use

Very good service and app. With excellent products attached

The HSBC kinetic business account is very helpful for me a small business owner. As it offers an overdraft, a credit card and a small business loan. It also has good customer service and an easy to use app. However the app would benefit from having the capability to write invoices and categorise payments. Other than that it’s great.
