In the 10 years I have used HSBC as our business bank, I am happy to say it has gone smoothly. The people I met or talked to always listened and took the time to assess the needs of the business and always delivered a solution. Forward thinking and friendly

After having a business account with a different provider, we decided to switch to HSBC. We are delighted with our decision. Online business banking with HSBC is efficient, easy to navigate and professional. In addition to this, the branch staff are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Safeguarding Review

A total shambles. Started in May 2021. Several conversations later in Dec 2021 HSBC cancelled the original review and requested a completely new start to the process. Frustrating, time consuming. Chief Exec UK banking failed to respond to a letter of complaint. Reviewed on: 7th March 2022

HSBC are utterly, utterly useless.

How does HSBC think it's reasonable to take 1.,5 hours to answer the phone? Then sends you to the wrong department (twice) to extend the call to 3,5 hours and then gives up. As for the complaints department - they close cases by not bothering rot deal with them or reply to email. Beyond useless and not even worth 1 out of 10! Reviewed on: 7th March 2022

Business banking? What business banking - it doesn't exist

My account was frozen, then converted to a business account despite it being a Family Trust linked to an investment with no transactions taking place and can only speak to frontline staff. No email or direct phone contact and they won't book an appointment. Been refused internet banking, no security telephone banking service and no plastic card of any kind. Basically cutting me off from my own account of which I do not run a business. Submitting complaints hasn't given any answers either. Simply put HSBC do NOT offer a business banking service at all. No choice but to go to the Financial Ombudsman just to access my funds Reviewed on: 3rd March 2022

More than a cut above other Banks!

After many, long years of exceptionally bad Customer Service and monumental incompetence on behalf of the Barclays Group, we finally made the move(s). Slowly but surely, personal account and investments first, then same for husband and finally the Business. And what a difference that made. Web/Mobile Banking suitable for the complex needs of the Global Trading World, competent advisors who are able to assist should the need to speak to a person arise, a Bank that constantly evolves and aims to better serving its customers introducing new products and services, navigating through the excessive and unnecessary Government bureaucratic impediments, a Bank that listens!
