Disgusting. Irritating company

I've had this card not even a few months , and for no reason , it's been blocked , I cannot access anything online. I've been told every time I call that my account is under investigation. But they cannot say why. This is causing a lot of anxiety. All am told is someone will call me once the review is done. That they cannot discuss anything on the account. When I said I'd like to pay my monthly fee , they gave me an account number at which was wrong what was stated online. When I asked the question ,she said , that's what I have. So I said I won't pay then as it's different online. Wtf. This company Is a joke and wished I never got it. It's caused nothing but stress and anxiety that I really should not feel !!! Appalling customer service. I could go on about my complaints but you get the jist!! Fuming is an understatement Reviewed on: 27th December 2023

Cannot Register On-line

I was transferred from the Post Office, which had always been very efficient. I have been trying all day to register on-line, so that I can change my address. Every time I go through the entire registration process, I get to the end and a message comes up 'This service is currently unavailable. Please try again later'. If it does not work tomorrow, I will be cancelling the card, instead of changing address! Extremely poor service, which I do not need when moving house! I did use their suggested contact, they asked for proof of my new address, but no comment on the difficulty of registering on-line! I pointed out that, as I had only moved house 3 days ago, I did not have any bills as proof yet. In frustration, I told then to just cancell my card ..... low and behold, the first efficient action, I got an email, confirming that they had cancelled my account! My advice to anyone considering using a Jaja Credit Card is to make the most of this efficient aspect of their service. Reviewed on: 26th June 2021

Worst Finance provider of the Century!

I have tried to open a complaint with them 2 months ago after a fraud on my card which they failed to block or to replace the card (happened after 20 emails and in-app messages after 3 months!) and spoke to a customer service rep on the phone after they told me numerous times that I'm not a customer which he responded with his own complaints of the management and did not raise my issue! Worse experience of my life dealing with Java and their complaints department haven't a clue! They took over from the Post Office card which was excellent but Jaja are a complete and total disaster in every way! Reviewed on: 10th June 2021

Terrible company. Avoid at all costs

Nothing but terrible customer service since they took over my Post Office Credit Card. Took 3 attempts to get the account closed, and now money has been refunded to it (from a cancelled holiday) that I can’t get because I “failed security” ! I didn’t know the exact month the account was opened (which was about 12 years ago for crying out loud). Just an awful company to deal with, the sooner I can get my money back and never have to deal with them again, the better.... Reviewed on: 11th May 2021

New card. Impossible to activate

Like others has transferred to PO. Unable to log on and also got asked non sensical questions about previous transactions even though it’s a new card. I’ve now been told I’ll be called back in 7 days. I will be asking them to close my account. I’ve just opened another account with a different provider in the last 10 minutes Reviewed on: 11th May 2021

Shambles - charged a late payment fee on zero balance

NEVER use this company - awful service since taking over from PO. flaky app, terrible customer service and last straw since having my credit card moved from the Post Office to JAJA charged a late payment fee, on a zero balance despite DD being set up and unchanged for over 10 years. No apologies but thankfully have now cancelled. Awful business Reviewed on: 10th May 2021

Awful Service

I had a Post Office card which moved to Jaja. They issued a new card which I never used, but the DD stayed the same. I managed to pay the outstanding amount off with the advisor on the phone telling me that nothing more is owed and the full balance has been cleared. 2 months later I received an email saying I owe money!? Basically they didn't close my account, nor advise me that there was £8.94 outstanding from somewhere and they were charging interest. CALLS ARE RECORDED and I asked them to listen to my previous call when I paid everything off; I assumed they did because I was put on hold for 10mins. In the end I was led to believe that the Ccard account hadn't been closed and I still them money. I have never even activated the Jaja card. I reluctantly paid because nobody would help. I told the advisor I would hit every social media channel and review. They still wanted the money. Reviewed on: 5th May 2021

Horrendous Service

Card not working and when you call up they ask nonsensical questions such as is it activated, when they are looking at my account and I've been using it previously. Still can't use card and cannot speak to anyone to get it resolved. Reviewed on: 27th April 2021

Losing the will to live

Would you believe it after 7 days I got a call from JaJa security department. They would not tell me why my card and account had been blocked until I answered a few security questions one was details of transactions on my account. Has my account had been blocked I explained this was difficult so asked for my account to be closed. Your account can not be closed until you are able to answer the security questions. I would like to meet Mr Chan the current CEO to see which planet he lives on. Reviewed on: 12th April 2021
