Review of the Leek Building Society, Savings:

A new customer account.

Initially went into the Derby Branch to open a savings account. I have never used this building society but I am glad I did. While only a small building the staff were friendly & chatty not just about savings. The lady said I could do my banking online, but it was nice when people popped in. I thought that was a nice touch. Keep the good customer service up, it didn't go unnoticed.... Reviewed on: 20th January 2025

Good local Building Society

Staff are very helpful and I have been a saver for many years. The rates are not always the best, but are competitive. I Previously had a mortgage with the Leek Building Society which worked very well. In addition it is local to where I live, however opening hours are more restricted lately. Good bank

The staff are lovely and are efficient. The yearly interest available is very good and the safety of accounts is impeccable. There can be large queues in busy periods and depending on the location often only has around two people serving so the line does not move very fast. Additionally, the opening hours are not friendly for people with 9-5 jobs so struggle to access the bank to deposit or withdraw cash. Reviewed on: 14th January 2025
