Reliable banking made easy

When I signed up to Lloyds 8 years ago, there was no faff and banking made easy. I send money internationally and I appreciate their rates are fixed no matter how much you are sending (unlike other banks). You don't have to enter in loads of memorable passwords. Reviewed on: 22nd February 2023

Didn't change address properly

I contacted the Bank on many occasions to change an overseas address as I was stuck there due to Covid-19 and my card had expired. The staff I spoke to on the phone only put in the 1st line of the address despite me spelling the full address patiently word for word. The new Debit card never arrived Obviously due to this major error Reviewed on: 19th February 2023

the best account i've had in years

After a terrible experience with hsbc, Lloyds has really turn me around on what good banking can be. The huge yearly benefits such as, cinema tickets, discounts on food, mobile and tv plans, good interest rates on purchases are fantastic and really easy to access. Plus additional cashback on purchases from a variety of brands, makes things a bit easier in this cost of living crisis. The fact that i can control my contactless limit, save the change and roundups my spending are some of the many perks to holding this account. I am really pleased. Reviewed on: 18th February 2023

Always sort my problems

i've been with lloyds for many years and they have always dealt with my problems, form lost bank cards to unauthorized payments to getting an overdraft. Never had any problems Reviewed on: 16th February 2023

Overall good bank but one small change

Overall good bank and good app to use and I feel it’s safe and secure. One small criticism is that notifications are slow unlike other banks for example if someone send me money or if a DD is taken notifications are not instant. Other then this I have no complaints really always good customer service to. Reviewed on: 16th February 2023

Fraud dept exposed me to potentially having my account stolen themselves

Fraud dept exposed me to potentially having my account stolen themselves. I tried to transfer from my own account into another account in my name. It was held by their fraud dept and had to phone a number. I spoke to 2 people on phone each time going through their security questions, but they could not release the payment. Over an hour later I was told to go into a branch to get it released. At a branch I spoke to 2 further people who had to phone their dept themselves and was passed the phone onto me to go through their security again. While on phone I was passed to another person and went through the same security again. They still could not get the payment released. Since the payment did not go through, I was told to put the payment through again. All this time I was in an open planned branch being asked personal and sensitive questions where anyone coming and going can hear, more than once. Obvious no one knows what they’re doing since I was kept being passed from one person to another. I didn’t get to do what I set out to achieve and I’m out of pocket having to pay for parking for several hours. Reviewed on: 10th February 2023
