Incompetence..!

i try to make a payment with western union from 2 days ago and Lloyds bank stop the transfer..i transfer money from western union from 6-7 years and no problem at all but from 2 days Lioyd cant unblock my transfer..i lost 5-6 hours on the phone with... Read more

i try to make a payment with western union from 2 days ago and Lloyds bank stop the transfer..i transfer money from western union from 6-7 years and no problem at all but from 2 days Lioyd cant unblock my transfer..i lost 5-6 hours on the phone with them in 2 days..they move me from one department to another...ridiculous how many incompents people are working there..i will close my lloyds account with them..!

Good rates

Good returns on capital at the end of maturity. Also because of the Apr on mortgages.. the app is very easily accessible and to have communication quickly and professionally which is excellent and simple to access

Great account and easy to use app makes banking straight forward. Plenty of cashback offers including supermarkets, mot centres and clothing retailers. My only issue is that the rewards offered (cinema tickets/magazines) are a bit useless and I would much prefer some money or vouchers as this could be more attractive.

Outstanding

I have been a Llyods customer for many years now and never had any issues with them. All customer facing staff I have dealt with have been incredibly helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was ever to much. Would never consider moving on.

Lloyd's have always been very quick at answering calls, and managing any bank related issues. They have high standards that show in each contact made. Their banking app is always one step ahead with functionality, allowing me to better manage my finances, and the member rate of interest for the savings account is always the highest I can find. Very happy, and when it comes to banks I'm never easy to please. I truly feel they put customers first.

Terrible bank with NO customer service

Good luck trying to get through to anyone at this bank when you have - £14 in your dormant bank account, and can't transfer any funds to the account because Lloyds have closed your account and referred the small money to their collections department.

You can try and call them, but you'll be waiting for a LONG time, it will take many many calls, and ALL of the people you DO get to speak to won't be able to help you.

I'm a 25 year old who works very long hours.. I had -£14 in my dormant current account, and while I was frantically trying to reach someone to get the balance settled, Lloyds were busy closing down my account so it was impossible for me to transfer money to the account and filing a derogatory mark on my credit report.

Disingenuous bank who doesn't care about anyone. A terrible high street bank, with terrible customer service.

Best Bank

I've had a number of bank accounts as I have moved around for switch bonuses. Only Lloyd's has been consistently great. Excellent customer service, fantastic products, user friendly app/website, good perks. Absolutely no complaints

Good all round account

Despite lockdown restrictions a local branch was extremely helpful in switching our account. Online and app access is excellent and interest rates are much better than many other banks.
