Always rated Lloyds Bank Club Vue Cinema Vouchers hi...

Always rated Lloyds Bank Club Vue Cinema Vouchers highly until yesterday! Could not book in advance on line, system would not let me (and we live 20 miles from Vue!) . This happened once before and I thought mudt be system glitch tyst day ....but not. Drove in , the showing was then sold out & they said can longer use vouchers on line. Whoever is managing the corporate voucher deal with Vue....needs to have a word. Reviewed on: 20th January 2025

Current account opened then CLOSED!

I tried to open a current account online to take advantage of the offer of extra cash to use the current account switiching service. All seemed to go well and I got a number of emails welcoming me to the bank etc etc, then out of the blue a text message saying I had to go into the branch with my passport to confirm my identity. Currently living in Spain for the winter so couldnt do it. So incredibly unhelpful when I foolishly tried to tell them using their chat service as I dont like using the phone. Went from one 'chatbot' to another, no help at all. I kept asking to talk online to a real human but I dont think they have them, although their bots all had solid british names of course. Total rubbish. Appalling customer service. Then had text message to say they had closed the account!! Tried to get through to them using the bots again to ask why. Ha ha, no joy of course but I am concerned they may have put a note on my credit file in which case I shall be livid. Still getting jolly emails about how pleased they are I have joined!! Have never had anything like this before. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN NEW ACCOUNT WITH THIS SHOWER. HOPELESS. I am still furious with them. No wonder they are offering the biggest bribe at the moment. Applied via app, not contact after that on progress.

Applied of the Club Lloyds account via their mobile app. Waited for an email for next steps that never arrived. Contacted support after a week only for them to say that I needed to go into a Bank to complete the verification process. Went in the next day for them to say that the application has been closed, and I would need to reapply. If they can't notify me when I need to do something to move the application on and just close my application but still tell me to come to a branch is poor processes and service. Will find another bank that does not just ghost you Perhaps the Cloudstrike got them, I'll never know. Reviewed on: 30th July 2024

Unhelpful advisor

Trying to add Disney plus, and each time I click the link, it takes me to lloyds. I have rung up for support and only advice is its my device, stopping me due to privacy access- I don't usually have issues..... really unhelpful. Reviewed on: 2nd January 2024

Rubbish service

Rubbish service. Another morning of frustration and time wasted. Was told by a snooty assistant on my last visit that I must use the in-bank ATM and it will let me withdraw any amount - WRONG - it won't. Took what it allowed and then joined the queue for the one and only cashier as I needed more cash. Immediately jumped on by another assistant who demanded to know why I was in the queue - told her why and she just walked off. After 5 minutes I got to the cashier. Her terminal doesn't work and can't read a card chip. Virtually no communication from her at all so asked why she couldn't type in my details on her keyboard - we have to read the chip she says! Another member of staff called to open another till but he was 'busy' and never arrived. After another 10 minutes of PC restarts she eventually managed to read the chip but had by then forgotten why I was there. Eventually got the cash I wanted but guess what - after having a Lloyds current account for exactly 60 years - I'm off, you can keep your rubbish service. Reviewed on: 11th December 2023
