I had about six different life insurance policies a...

I have about six different life insurance policies and was costing me hundreds per month - once I upgraded my basic account to silver account, I was given advice and appointment was made for me to speak with a specialist and do way with the various life insurance policies and now I have one suitable life insurance policy with decent monthly payment. I was also given £500 over draft, which is helping me hugely. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Longstanding customer of 16 years

Banked with Lloyd's for 16 years and never had an issue. Always very helpful to deal with any queries. Only drawers back is the lack of local branches left as I have to travel 40 miles if I wanted to visit the closest! Thankfully 99% of the services I use are online too so I cant fairly knock a star off on that basis! Reviewed on: 27th February 2026

Pointless.

Pointless. I've been a customer of Lloyds for 24 years. Be aware they have changed the fine print on their travel insurance, making it fairly useless unless you are ill abraod. They have also changed the terms of the phone insurance. Reviewed on: 19th September 2024

I joined Lloyds Bank because of its customer service...

I joined Lloyds Bank because of its customer service and the support received. I've been with them for years, and in the interim, the customer service and support received went down to very poor, forget proactive it was promising a lot and delivering nothing that was promised. It's terrible, but once trust is broken... Lloyds is a great bank, its app is efficient, and the incentives are great. It's a pity the support and incentivisation is not customer-led and centric. Lloyds Silver Account

This particular account has many advantages if you are willing to pay extra for example it covers your phone insurance and holiday insurance. Reviewed on: 1st June 2023

Great value

I like this packaged bank account, it offers extras that I actually can use ! The travel insurance is used by my whole family every year and the free monthly magazine is great too Reviewed on: 2nd February 2023

Excellent product

It's a great bank account with a wide range of benefits that are actually useful in real life plus they always have new cashback offers too ! Reviewed on: 13th January 2022

Not very good at all

Cheaper phone insurance

My husband and I have the silver account and although it's £10 a month we both have our phones insured which works out much much cheaper than having individual insurance we have needed to use it several times and the process has always been straightforward and quick.
